100 Year Farm Anniversary

My Grandparents were pioneers in Saskatchewan and today my uncle Allan Reader farms this land. Here is the beautiful signpost outside our farm. We had a wonderful family reunion here with great food, fun and festivities.

The Family!

After a huge pancake breakfast under a large circus tent on the farm we took a photo to remember the good times! I am hidden at the back!!

Meet the family!

Being newly engaged Vince came with me to meet the family! Here, Vince sports a Roughrider ballcap which my father gave him to welcome him into the family. If you are going to marry a prairie girl you better think "RIDER PRIDE!" Though I myself have never watched a game!!

Reach for the sky!

I LOVE the Prairie skies. You are so free! We are the land of the living skies.

Family Barn

My mom outside the family barn. Looks like a storm is coming in after a hot prairie day.

Homesteaders

This is the homestead in Woodrow, Sask.
where my great grandfather Thomas Reader and great grand mother Ruth Southam lived in the 1900's.

Goodnight Saskatchewan

A place forever in my heart.
